The LONGEST Week EVER!!!

Oh my gosh! I wanted to pull my hair out after today. It was the longest, hardest day i have had in a long time. Well, actually i guess you could say, the longest week in a long time. So it all started on Monday when i couldn't sleep because on Saturday i watched a scary movie and my mind just wouldn't let me rest. So because i couldn't sleep, i got up early and went to work and then at noon i went to class, then after class i went back to work. So now im tired and i still cant sleep, which continued until Wednesday when i finally got some rest.

Wednesday morning i woke up late and i was late for work. It just felt like i couldn't win. But i gets worse. So then on Wednesday night after work and school and more work again, i buckled down so studying for this test that i had im my Communication Law Class. I read all my chapters and made flash cards and even ran it all over with a friend who was in the class with me. We stayed up until 3 am and finaly i got to sleep.

Well today was the final straw! After waking up late and dragging into work, i started reviewing my flash cards at work and i knew that i was ready for my test. Well it just so happened to be pouring its butt off outside and in trying to lighten my load i left my purse in the car and grabbed my laptop for notes in class. But what i didnt realize is that i left my scantrone and pencil in my purse, in my car.

I finally got situated in my class and bought a pencil from this guy who charged me $2, and as i started the test i FROZE UP! I couldnt remember any of the Supreme Court cases or terms that i had been studying for the life of me. So i tried to relax and just go slow as i worked my way through the test. Well that didnt actually work because i ended up being the last one in the calss still taking the test and i left 7 of my open answers blank. Although the test was 70 questions long, i was still devastated that i had spent so much time preparing and i couldn't prove that i knew the information.

This just really ticked me off, especially because we had to go back into class and take notes for another hour after the test. I have to admit, i just broke down and started to cry during the lecture. I dont think anyone saw me but it was so embarrassing. Then, as if i hadnt had it bad enough, I got to work and it was really the last place i wanted to be.

After my long day of disappointment i still had to go home because i had agreed to do hair for a banquet that was happening that night. My first girl had supper strait hair and she wanted curls. Now like i said, it had been raining all day and the humidity was so high. But she wouldnt settle for anything else so thats what she got. Even though she knew what she wanted, it was so hard to make her happy. She had a problem with everything i did with her hair... I finally finished and after she paid me i quit and went to bed!

This was by far the LONGEST week of my summer.
